Layla had many wonderful gifts she was brave, beautiful, and loving to name but a few amazing things about her. Everyone that met her felt touched, she filled your heart with love and joy. Layla always had a smile for everyone, one of the main things I learnt from her was love can over come everything, she was faced with pain and suffering every day of her life but she always gave you a smile and loved us despite the things we had to do to her . Layla had spent much of her 11 months of life in hospital, but the love and care she received was wonderful, all of the staff at the RVI in Newcastle Upon Tyne loved and cared for her, she became part of there family the nurses, play specialist and nursing assistants became her Mum's. I know that they touched her life and she touched there's. Layla was loved by her beautiful eldest sister Annabelle and Layla's twin sister Ella. She was very lucky to have such an amazing big sister, who treasured her. Layla will live on in all of us, each time I look at Ella I see Layla's smile and I know I will never forget what she looked like. Layla's death has left a huge hole in my heart but I know that one day we will be together again and I pray that she is happy. I will never forget you poppet, my life will never be the same again. Being your Mammy changed my life and made me a better person, I pray you are happy with God and I promise I will come for you one day.
